When you buy a placement you give us, and we store:

• your brand or project name, website URL and optional tagline
• your optional X / Twitter handle
• the logo file you upload
• your email address
• the amount paid, the placement, and the dates you held it
• the marketing campaign that brought you here (UTM parameters and ad click identifiers), which we attach to the purchase for our own measurement

The brand name, logo, website, handle, tagline, amount and dates are public by design — that is the product. Your email address is not published; it is used for the receipt and for contacting you about your placement.

Card payments are handled entirely by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. We never see, receive or store your card number. We store the Dodo identifiers for your payment so refunds and reconciliation are possible. Dodo processes your data under its own privacy policy.

The site records first-party usage events (page views, which placements get opened, checkout starts and completions, share clicks). Each event stores a random per-tab identifier held in your browser’s session storage, the page path, and the event name. These events stay on our own infrastructure.

Because the site is promoted with paid posts on X (Twitter), we use the X advertising pixel to measure whether those ads work. The pixel is a script provided by X Corp. that may set cookies and sends X events such as page views, placement views, checkout starts and completed purchases (including the purchase amount), together with technical data about your browser.

X processes this data under its own privacy policy and may associate it with your X account. You can limit this through your browser settings (blocking third-party cookies or the script) and through your X ads preferences. The site works fully with the pixel blocked.

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. In total, your browser may hold:

• an administrator login cookie — set only for the site operator, never for visitors
• session/local storage for first-party analytics and campaign attribution
• cookies set by the X pixel, as described in clause 5
• cookies set by Dodo Payments on its own checkout pages

Our hosting and database providers keep operational logs, which ordinarily include IP addresses. IP addresses are also used transiently for rate limiting to prevent abuse of the upload and checkout endpoints. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect the data we hold; no system is perfectly secure.

Sponsorship records are kept indefinitely, because permanence is the point of the Hall of Fame. Payment records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics events are periodically cleared.

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for your email address to be deleted once it is no longer needed.

Requests to remove a published sponsorship are considered case by case: the public record of who sponsored what is part of what other sponsors paid for, so it will not normally be erased retroactively.

Where these providers operate outside your country, your data is transferred accordingly under their applicable safeguards.
