Sponsorship terms

You are buying the right to be shown as the current sponsor of one named placement on toiletspace.lol, starting when your payment is confirmed by our payment provider. That is the whole product.

It is a novelty sponsorship and vanity placement. It is not an advertising campaign, a media buy, a security, an investment, a share of anything, or a financial product of any kind. No advertising performance of any sort is part of what you are buying.

You must be at least 18 years old. If you purchase for a brand or company, you represent that you are authorised to act for it and that all details you submit (name, logo, link, tagline) are accurate and yours to use. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

Placements work on a continuous takeover model. At any time, another buyer may pay the then-current takeover price for your placement. When they do, they immediately become the current sponsor and you stop being it.

There is no minimum holding period, no reserved term, and no notice. If you need a guaranteed duration, this product does not offer one, and you should not buy it.

All purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Dodo issues your receipt and invoice, applies any applicable taxes (prices are displayed tax-inclusive where applicable), and handles payment disputes and chargebacks under its own terms. We never see or store your card details.

The price you pay is calculated by our server at the moment of purchase. The price shown in your browser is re-verified server-side before checkout; if it has changed you will be asked to re-confirm rather than being charged a stale amount.

If someone takes your placement, your original payment is not refunded. Being replaced is the intended behaviour of the format, not a failure of the service. This is stated on the placement page and again in the checkout form before you pay.

Refunds are issued automatically in the narrow case where you paid but could not receive the placement at all — for example, if two buyers completed checkout at almost the same moment and the other payment settled first, or if the placement was withdrawn before your payment settled. In those cases the full amount is returned.

Any other refund is at the Operator’s sole discretion. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have under applicable consumer law.

No traffic, impressions, views, clicks, leads, sales, brand lift, return on spend or outcome of any sort is promised, projected or guaranteed. Any “metrics” shown on this site are jokes and are labelled as such. Nothing in this bathroom is measured.

Treat the amount you pay as money spent on a novelty, because that is what it is.

The intention is to print your logo, place it physically on the corresponding real object, photograph it, and publish the photo on your placement page marked “Installed IRL”.

Your digital placement goes live immediately on payment and does not depend on this. Physical installation is done on a best-effort basis, on no fixed timetable, and may be repositioned, re-printed or refreshed at the Operator’s discretion. The physical materials are not weatherproof, permanent or insured. It is a sticker in a bathroom.

Submitted logos, names, taglines and destination URLs may be reviewed at any time. The Operator may refuse, remove, hide or replace, at its sole discretion, any placement that is or links to: illegal content; sexual or adult content; hateful, harassing or extremist content; malware, phishing or deceptive schemes; impersonation; content infringing third-party rights; or content that in the Operator’s judgment creates legal or reputational risk.

If your placement is removed for breach of this clause, your payment is forfeited and the placement returns to sale. If it is removed for any other reason, a full or partial refund may be granted at the Operator’s sole discretion.

You keep all rights in your trademarks, logo and brand. By submitting them you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, resize, print, photograph and publish them — on the Site, on the physical object, and in the Operator’s marketing and social media — for the purpose of running your placement and showing the historical record, including in the Hall of Fame after you no longer hold the placement.

You confirm you have the right to grant that licence for everything you upload.

Sponsorships are recorded permanently. After you are outbid, your brand, the placement you held, the amount paid and the dates you held it remain publicly visible on the Hall of Fame and leaderboard. That permanence is part of what you are buying.

No uptime, availability or lifespan is guaranteed. This is a joke website about a bathroom. It may be modified, suspended, taken down, moved or discontinued at any time, and that does not entitle you to a refund of a payment already made.

Prices are shown in USD. Each takeover raises the next takeover price by a formula set by the Operator, which may be adjusted from time to time for future purchases. Prices only go up between takeovers of the same placement; a placement returned to sale may restart at its base price.

The limitation of liability and indemnification clauses of the Terms of Use apply to every placement. In particular, the Operator’s total liability in connection with a placement shall not exceed the amount actually received for that placement, and you indemnify the Operator against claims arising from the content you submit.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel; the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, as set out in the Terms of Use.
